Saddle Club Royalty

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing 3 very fun girls. They are the 2008 Idaho Saddle Club Association Royalty. Unfortunately 2 of the girls where sick when we were doing this shoot, but you'd never know it by how nice the images turned out.

The sun was shining, which is usually good, but it had snowed the day before and that caused it to be VERY bright outside!! Snow was melting everywhere which caused it to be VERY muddy outside!! The wind was blowing and the temp was probably in the 30's, so it was also VERY cold outside!!
These girls were real troopers, being sick and dealing with the cold. They kept a sense of humor and we really had some fun and I think that shows in some of the images I've posted below.

Please feel free to comment on these images and let the girls know how much you enjoyed seeing them.

Are YOU tough enough??

Northwest Trail Challenge

This is something I will be talking about for a while. It's a new event that I will be the photographer for, as well as hopefully being very involved in promoting the event.

This looks to be a very, very fun event whether you are participating or just watching. There will be vendors each weekend, a silent auction each Saturday night and live music too!!!!!!!

Please check out their website and continue checking it often for updates!! Don't hesitate to contact them if you are interested in participating or having a vendor space at these events or if you'd like to make a donation to their fundraiser for Sampson & Friends!!

Junior Rodeo Images

Last year I had the opportunity to shoot a 2 1/2 day Junior Rodeo. I've got to tell you that it was one of the hardest but funnest events I've ever done. I absolutely enjoyed watching these children between the ages of barely walking to 18 years old, giving it their all!!

This was the Drover's Junior Rodeo and it was held in Davenport, WA. All of the people I met and spoke with and photographed that weekend were really awesome. I'm so glad they gave me the opportunity to experience their junior rodeo!!
Here are some of the images from that event.

I've been working on my schedule for this year and I'm very excited. Not only will I be doing several shows again this year that I did last year, but I have many news one's lined up as well. If you are interested in viewing my schedule or know of an event that needs a photographer, please contact me or check my website for updates http://www.wildspiritphoto.com/

Let me know what you think of these little buckaroos!!
